Another Update issue

OK so ive read and reread and searched forums for a few weeks now....

Ive DLed the Readiness Check Tool to find my error..and im simply missing a .mum file ..however it cant seem to fix it and i really dont know where to go to recover it...

And im guessing since this file is missing in why I keep getting the error when it tries to update the windowsupdateagent30-x86 file.

windowsupdateagent30-x86 failed the auto install and the 1500 manual attempts...

I want to say someone said that thier fix was to copy from his other computer..but that doesnt help whent there is only one computer in the house with Vista and 6 others with XP..
PLZ help anyone
