System refuses to boot.
I just built a new system, and everything was running fine for about a month. Then, one day, the system hung up in the middle of use, and then would not reboot. It would show my MOBO splash screen, and when I pressed the key to show the loading text, it would say that it stopped when attempting to read SATA II.
So I figured that perhaps it was a HDD problem. So I slapped another HDD in, re-installed Vista, and things worked fine. But that HDD was a tiny 60GB compared to my lovely new Western Digital 640GB drive... so I figured, why not. I need to wait a couple weeks to trade this in anyways, so I'll try re-installing vista. It worked fine.
All was well, and about three weeks passed. Now the system is doing it again. It froze up in mid session, then refused to boot. I don't know what to do. Is this a software issue that I'm not aware of? Or is it time to give up and send away my HDD for replacement?
