Print Spooler Not Working
Whenever I click to add a [COLOR=blue ! important][COLOR=blue ! important]printer[/color][/color] from the control panel, I get a message that the print spooler is not running. Even if I have just turned it on in the Services window.
When my printer is plugged in with a USB it is recognized as a storage device and will not install.
I have tried to install using HP [COLOR=blue ! important][COLOR=blue ! important]software[/color][/color] several times, I have removed it several times. I have used the installer clean up utility, I have cleaned the print drivers, and it still says that the print spooler is not running.
When I start the print spooler, it automatically stops whenever I try to add a printer.
Is there a way to reinstall the print spooler? Any other way to fix this problem? |
