Themes in Vista

Okay, I may be a bit of a dunce here, so bear with me.

My first question is: how do I install themes in Vista?

In XP I could just extract themes out of zip files directly into C:\Program Files\Themes, but on Vista there is no C:\Program Files\Themes folder. So, where do I put them?

Sometimes some of the files are not in the .theme part, and then Vista can't find them and thinks they're missing, so it won't install the theme. If I knew where to put them I would assume it wouldn't think they were missing.

Does Desktop Architect work with Vista? (I'm assuming not.)

Second question is: Where do I get Aero, and does it cost extra, or is it free?

i apologise in advance because i'm not going to answer you question directly ( simply because i'm not 100% sure myself). i suggest you download windows blinds. it allows you to customise the look of windows a bit better than you can already and i'm sure aero is included with the programe. good luck
