A frustrating thing about the Vista 64 Windows Update app is that it never gives you a page reference to get details on what is available to install. for example, in the past couple weeks an optional update appeared in Control Panel>Windows Update entitled:
"Synaptics - Input - Synaptics PS/2 Port TouchPad. Synaptics Input software update dated 2 July 08".
There is no KB page reference to tell us what version of the synaptics software it is or what the update does (the synaptics site currently lists
http://drivers.synaptics.com/Synapti..._8_Vista64.exe).
Very weak. Why doesn't Windows Update for Vista 64 give us more info?
