I've tried loading Microsoft Money 2001 onto my new Vista laptop. I'm told that it is installed correctly but... nothing happens on opening. I've done every combination in the "compatibility" screen, but no luck.
When I tried to "repair" it in the Programmes & Features in Control Panel, I'm told that Setup was unable to register tasks??? (This cd was used to install onto my pc running XP, with no problems.)
I'm also swearing over adding a network printer (connected to XP pc) - although it can be seen, it says Windows cannot connect to printer. Access is denied. I've updated the printer driver on both laptop and pc, and downloaded something that was supposed to help with network problems. There is no problem with file sharing. (Have now sorted this one by removing McAfee. Why is this product still on the market. It seems to cause more problems than it fixes!)
I would so appreciate some help on these. I work from home and don't have anybody around with any clues who I can interogate.
