Picture folder disappeared

hi there,

i cannot access my "Pictures" folder.

when i click the start menu and right click properties, the properties are blank....


all of the other items, music etc. have something there.

the pictures seem to have disappeared overnight.

i back everything up on an external drive every few weeks, so nothing was lost. i would just like to be able to access the pictures as normal.

there is not even a folder icon any longer


any help would be appreciated.
