Error cannot access disk

i just did a scandisk, now i can't boot into vista.

i have my Acer setup disks so i cannot use them to boot into the emergency recovery system. And formatting is not a solution.

i have to recover the partition, if nothing else i must atleast recover the data.

any ideas how to fix this problem ?
