Hi superchavo,
I am assuming that your wallpaper is what you want on your desktop. If not, right click on it and select 'Personalize' and then 'Desktop Background'. Select the required background here and click 'OK'.
However, your main problem concerns the desktop icons, or lack of them. To solve this, again right click on your desktop. In the menu that appears, highlight 'View'. On the sub-menu that subsequently appears, clisk to place a tick adjacent to 'Show Desktop Icons'.
