Do you mean the password for your Exchange server, or general passwords to say, websites?

I cant remember Outlook 2002 precisely, so some of the names of the actions I'm going to recommend may have changed slightly. So here goes:

1. Open Outlook
2. From the Tools menu, select 'Accounts'
3. Select your email account and press 'Change' or it may say 'Modify'
4. A new window will appear. Make sure you fill in the correct password and press 'Save Password'.

Let me know if that helps!

Hi Phil,

When you enter the password manually, does Outlook download any messages? The reason I ask this is because Outlook won't 'remember' incorrect passwords - i.e. you have to enter a correct one for it to be stored.

My second thought is whether your ISP or office network may require you to enter a domain as well as the username. E.g. domain\user.

Are you connecting to an Exchange server or a POP3 server?

Thanks
