Problems Taskbar Vista

Hi chevre,

how are things in the Netherlands... cold as here probably..

can you right click an empty area on your desktop, click on New, and click Shortcut. When the Create Shortcut Wizard appears, type in the following path:

c:\windows\system32\mmc.exe c:\windows\system32\evetvwr.msc

When the shortcut is created then you can open Event Viewer by opening the shortcut.

Hello Steve,

Yeah, the weather here is cold and rainy and windy.
I made the shortcut and can open Vista events, (I could never guess the Dutch name of it, but now I know).
But.... I don't know what I have to do when I am in Vista events. I looked on the page you gave me, but I don't exactly know where I have to look.
Everything is in Dutch also in that programm.

Hi chevre,

when you open the error there should be a Copy text button. This will put the error text into your Clipboard.

In a posting you can then paste this text into a post using CTRL V
