Hi Nerris,

welcome aboard and sorry for not getting back to you earlier

Can you right click on the Icon that you use and select Run As Administrator from the menu and see how this goes.

regards

Steve

Hi Nerris,

the next thing to try is right click on the icon and select properties.

Then find the Target, it should be something.exe, then in Windows Explorer can you try right clicking on the .exe file and select Run As Administrator and see if this works,

regards

Steve

Hi Nerris,

I would next try this,

1. Uninstall the program.
2. Re-install the program by right clicking on the install icon and select Run As Administrator.

If this doesnt work then I think it is a case of getting on to the makers of the program and sending them a email to the support department.

regards

Steve

Hi,
Thanls for the advice. I already did that, and it didn't work. I think I'll cut my losses now.

Hi Steve,

1.flower quest
2.wonderlines
3.boggle
4.amazing adventures - the lost tomb

I bought all the above games at iwin.com and they all need the GLWorker.exe to run (which of course IT DOESN'T). I'm attaching the hijackthis log, maybe you can see what's going on with my computer.

Thanks.

Hi Nerris,

this should get your games going.... This is the suggestion from the good people over at iWin Games...

1. Find the install directory. (the default installation directory is C:\Program Files\iWin Games\)
2. Right click on the iWinGames.exe icon.
3. Select Properties.
4. Go to the compatibility tab in the properties window.
5. Check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for".
6. Make sure it says "Windows XP (service Pack 2)" under that.
7. Make sure you check the box for "run this as an administrator".
8. Click OK.
9. Run the iWin Games Arcade again and download your game again.

regards

Steve
