Windows Live Hotmail

I am new to this site and this is my first post so please forgive me if this is in the wrong place.

I have recently acquired Windows Live Hotmail but it has no toolbar at the top to File Edit etc. as with Outlook.

Can anyone help me as to how I go about getting this feature.

I have tried right clicking on the toolbar that is there 'New Reply.... etc. The Options button and the ? Help feature all without success and it is becoming increasingly fristrating not being able to either save an E-mail.

Hope someone can help and I have said earlier sorry if this in the wrong place (or even the wrong site but I Google it and this is where it directe me)

welcome aboard and you have posted in the correct forum ok.

Windows Live Hotmail is more of a web based email system and therefore wont have the same menu features as Outlook.

Is there something you are looking for specifically and I will tell you what the equivalent is,

Thank you for replying.

Just the ability to save (as in File Save) Edit, etc.

Particularly as I wanted to add an E-mail to another or copy one into another the other day. In the same way I can at work.

Hi Steve,

there should be an option to save emails by ticking the box beside each email and selecting save from a dropdown on the Hotmail page. It will save them as text or some other format. They will not be like saved messages in outlook.

To copy text from one email to another you will have to highlight the text you want to copy, right click and select Copy and then to put it in another email you will have to right click in the email and select Paste,
