auto download already set
vista sp1 is the most trouble I have had with any PC thing in years. I set my windows up date to auto. and for unknown reasons is will not download it for me. What it does is tell me there is 1 important up date that is needed to down load. When I check to see what it is, it turns out to be, sp1. Why it wont down load it auto as I have it set, is beyond me. Please help. Gene

Re: auto download already set
MS Window Vista Service Pack 1 Is reliable and good. The same thing can occur with the regular cumulative security updates for both IE7 and Windows Mail. This is actually a good thing, because it prevents rogue programs from altering these executive's without you knowing about it. If you are notified by the firewall that these programs have changed, check for installed updates.
Thanks for sharing.
