CAC Information
I am trying to work on a Vista computer as in a Common Access Card environment. It is required that the user logs on with a CAC. But administratively it requires us to have a CAC as well. This is easy to disable- boot into safe mode and change the registry setting as follows:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Policies\System\scforceoption -> 0

It would be easier to edit this setting as the local administrator, but Vista will only allow CAC login unless this option is disabled.

What I am asking is this- is there another way of disabling the CAC only admin requirement aside from this? I have to reboot every day now and change this setting as I cannot run Active Directory Users & Computers without the "Run As..." command. Any ideas are much appreciated!

Re: CAC Information
So basically the CAC card certificate, it can be certified as flight card. Based on all the SharePoint group, or the securities or advertising SharePoint. So once you authenticated users will have the right according to their own ad group or SharePoint group. Security settings in the SharePoint side .. so the only available in the CAC card authentication.
