VISTA Freezes UP after updating
Whenever I try to update Vista Business on a Dell 390 Workstation the update appears to successfully go through all 3 phases but when it tries to reboot, the system freezes up after a few cycles of the boot crawler. I have to manually shut down, start up in Safe Mode and then do a system restore to recover machine operation. All hardware have successfully passed testing. As of now, I have over 20 updates pending and as many failed updates. I also have a Dell Vostro 200 running Vista Home with no such problems.
