Extension CLSID Verification Host

Folks, have a problem

I am trying to use TeamViewer 5 to give som minor support to elderly friends using Vista Business SP2.

All is working fine except for File transfer. When I try to use this funktion I get error message "Extension CLSID Verification Host has stoped working and the program is closing". I enclose a snipet(in Swedish) sorry for this.

I have tested without and with Firewall active but the same problem.

FOI I do have a Win7 PRO where I do not have the same problem. All works fine.
But I would like to find a solution to the Vista problem

Any suport in this will be appr.

I figured it out. I live on teamviewer so I couldn't stop till I found a solution.
Teamviewer version earlier than 5 will not have a propblem. But when installing 5 you must NOT put "use VPN" and I selected "CONFIRM ALL" on the last option on install. I'm not sure exactly which one is the solution, I think VPN.... but who cares becuase it is now working.

You made my day....I never thought this problem would be solved...
But you did it...

I uninstalled Teamviewer from my machine. Cleaned out all traces from Registry. Downloaded a fresh installation file and followed your instructions and yieppiiie IT WORKS FINE NOW...

Millions of thanks from an old man in Sweden..
