Unable to access file shares on a 2003 server.

I have a window 7 and a vista business pc that connects to a 2003 R2 server.
The windows 7 pc is able to access the shares on the server but the vista PC is unable to. All 3 PC’s are in a workgroup. I have turned off all the firewalls and all virus software has been removed from the vista pc. When i try and connect the share via \\server \files it keeps asking me for a password. I type in the administrator password for the server but it just will not accept the password. I am able to connect to the server using the user name and password on the windows 7 PC. I am also able to RDP to the server via the vista PC and I am also able to ping the server.

Could someone please help
