Memory Scan Failure Error #7

Vista was hanging up and not operating fully so I can a memory scan since the slowness was (we thought) a problem with the way graphics was installed. While running the memory scan, it shut down and when retried it gave us the "Scan Failed Error #7" and I have no idea what to do now? Help??
