Windows Live Messenger has stopped working
Hi all

Newbie here!

I am running Windows Vista Business SP1 and keep getting the message "Windows Live Messenger has stopped working - A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

No error code, nothing to help me escalate this.

Although it didn't initially bother me, I've now been getting this message for months and really need to log in to MSN Messenger occasionally.

Has anyone had a similar problem and discovered a patch/update/workaround etc.?
