Windows Server 2008
Can anyone help. When I use roaming profiles by logging in locally on the server, they are loaded without any problem. When I try to use a laptop running Vista Business, the roaming profile won’t load (but windows spends over 10 minutes trying to load the profile from the server) and eventually we get to a desktop but with a message in the notification area stating that we “are on a temporary profile. Changes to the profile won’t be saved when you log off”. The event viewer doesn’t really help much either.
