All my files suddenly disappeared in My Documents folder! Please help!
All my files suddenly disappeared in My Documents folder! Please help!
I was moving a few files from my desktop to my documents folder (cleaning my desktop). Later as i went out to lunch, i set the computer to 'lock' mode.
When i came back, i realise all the contents of my documents has disappeared And the other thing the 'Documents' folder has become a normal folder, rather than a special folder.
I tried search for my files, only found shortcuts which leads to nowhere.
What is wrong here? Can someone help? I believe I lost quite lot of files (some important). So frustating when this happens and who knows when it will happen again...

False alarm! manage to retrieve my files after all... but still thinks it pretty weird that actually happened!
If anyone have similar problems, go to the Properties tab of your Document folder.. go to the Previous Versions tab.. and it should show a list of previous versions of the folder... choose the one you want to restore and click restore... thats all.
And the other thing the 'Documents' folder has become a normal folder, rather than a special folder.
