connect to networked PC
I have an established network with XP desktop and Belkin router. I have had my vista home premium laptop successfully connected to this for a long time, but when this went back for repair and was returned as new I can now not connect this or a new Acer desktop Vista Business. All use use avast antivirus.

The xp desktop can see the vista machines on the network but not connect and the vista laptop and desktop cannot see the xp desktop or each other.

The 2 vista's can connect to router and freecom drive on the network. They can connect to internet but not find the PC.

I am unsure how to fix this but know it must be possible as we had the laptop connected previously.

Please can anyone help?
