Vista Sidebar disappeared!!!

PLEASE help me out... my Vista Business SP1 version's sidebar has suddenly disappeared and I have tried all possible ways to retrieve it... but NO use at all...

Hi Tawttitude,

try this....

1. Click on Start -> All Programs -> Accessories
2. Rightclick on Command Prompt and select "Run as administrator"

Type these commands one by one:

Quote:

Regsvr32 atl.dll

then press enter

Quote:

Regsvr32 "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar\sbdrop.dll"

then press enter

Quote:

Regsvr32 "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar\wlsrvc.dll"

then press enter

I just typed sidebar in the start menu search area and hit return and it appeared right away - not sure if that will help.
