I have a Dell Inspiron 1501. I upgraded from XP Pro SP3 to Vista Business and just installed SP1 (thought it was suppose to be a good idea to install SP1).
Now, I cannot use the DVD-drive. I tried uninstalling/installing the drive, updating the driver, rebooting... nothing works. I can't eject either. Besides reverting to XP, what else can I do?
I had to replace the disk drive so maybe it was coincidence? But this may be related... I was using the Windows default Administrator login but when I switched to a regular login (as administrator), it solves a few other problems.
