Vista OFFLINE Files

I have an IBM T42 laptop with Vista Business. Offline Files is enabled, slow link is enabled on the server (windows server 2003). I click on offline files and select sync now and it shows pending, cannot stop the pending sync. how do I stop the pending sync? How do I get my files to sync so I can use them offline. HAS ANYONE FIXED THIS YET?
