A little about the environment:
One SBS 2003 server, three add'l Win 2000 servers. All servers patched and happy. We run DHCP and WINS on the SBS 2003 server.
the Vista client computer is brand new. It has two NICS. One built into the machine which is disabled and another that is a wireless netgear card WG311T
.
At first, I couldn't get the vista client to even find the domain, but now I'm getting a peculiar error message. I log into the computer and then open up windows ie. I type in
http://jupiter/connectcomputer/ and get the server welcome page. Once I click on "connect to the network now" I get the following error message: "Make sure that only one network adapter is enabled and that it is connected to the Small Business Server."
There's just one minor problem here: the add'l nic is already disabled. I am only using the wireless network adapter. Any ideas for resolution and what the cause is?
when I do a nslookup on our domain, it comes back with info so I'm a little puzzled about this one.
