User account problem
I have problem regarding user accounts in Vista.
We recently have upgraded from xp to vista in our office.
I have given users Power User accounts, but they dont seem to be able to do much without it prompting for an admin password. I have turned off UAC but then it just says access denied when they try to perform certain actions.
I want them to be able install updates from firefox, adobe, java, ect and install printers, but not let them install any new fresh applications or uninstall anything, this was how power user accounts worked in XP and was great. We have over 200 people in our office and its getting a bit annoying having to keep going round machines inputting admin passwords.
Is there anyway I can achieve this in Vista without giving users full admin access?
Any help would be much appreciated.
