Rundll32.exe error on Vista

My son's PC is running Vista Business. Some applications are returning the following message when I try to open them, including some from the Control Panel: "This file does not have a program associatiated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Set Associations Control Panel." In the title bar of that window reads c:\windows\system32\rundll32.exe.

Yes ^ Ramesh's site is an Authority on Windows fixes.

Also: To set File Associations in Windows Vista, Open Control Panel > Programs > 'Make a file type always open in a specific program'

I have the same problem too, but I get this when I start up my computer. When I used the link above that fixes, it didn't solve my problem. The error still pops up when ever I turn on/restart my vista.

I also get another error pop up for "C:\Windows\System32\mrt.exe
