Vistart 5 Problem

Whenever I install a new program to my Pc it goes into the colume above ‘All Programs’* -* How am I able to remove the shortcut along with the: ‘Internet’ & ‘E-mail’ shortcuts?Also in: ‘All Programs’ when it has Accessories etc… it had a desktop link, how could I remove this?Thanks
