Cannot boot from CD
My friends Gateway has Vista which I am not familiar with. The Defender sheild came up with a message to enter the PIN which we did not have, somehow now we cannot boot into safe or any other mode and the startup disc goes to a greyscale designed screen with no instructions. I assume this is blocking any access because it thinks its been stolen, how do I bypass this? How do I disable this so it doesn't happen again?
