SAM Broadcaster Mic Problems in Vista

Hi All,

I have been using SAM (Spacial Audio Manager) Broadcaster for a long time in the XP Home/Pro world. Never a problem. I recently had to buy a new desktop computer because my old laptop died. I upgraded the sound card to a Sound Blaster x-fi Titanium Pro because it has ASIO support for microphone recording. WIth this new computer, I also got Vista 64 Home Premium. When I broadcast my radio show, the system works wonderfully - I love the sound of my Shure SM58 mic. However, occasionally (I'll guess maybe 1 out of 5 times), there is a "jack hammer" sound in the mic. This doesn't occur with Adobe AUdition or other sound recording programs. So it's some sort of interaction between SAM and Vista 64. Do any of you use this set up? I presume there is a setting that I am just overlooking in SAM that will fix this. Any ideas?
