problems with ms word in vista

problem 1: in ms word in the new vista, when i type, my alignment would automatically rearrange, or my words be underline or italicize, or bolded as if some keys on my keyboard is shortcut to do these things.

problem 2: also in word, while typing, pop up boxes such as "Replace with", "Save As", "Search" pop-ups would pop-up, and it is very annoying especially when i'm typing a long research paper.

problem 3: in word, is there a way to eliminate some icons on the tool bar? i dont use most of the icons on the tool bar. it is too annoying and not very efficient. i just want a simple tool bar with the most used icons.

You need to search the MS Office Word help, not the Vista help....these changes can be made, just need to find the options in MS Word.
