Laptop reboots over and over, freezes when idle
I have a issue I have been chasing down for about a month now.

I have a Hp laptop with Vista Premium home 32 bit.

When not used for awhile it will boot right up. Once booted it runs great, fast, cool no problems. I recently upgraded the thermal paste for a great 12* drop in temps (thanks HP for not using any at all), anyhow the issue because that the laptop would not reboot sometimes after a restart once hot. The screen would stay black and it would boot over and over again. It would randomly boot up to windows and be fine after that. But if I shut it down it would again boot and boot again. I recently learned that leaving it off for awhile and it would 90% of the time boot right up.

It has also recently began freezing if left idle for awhile. Even when other programs were running like defrag, scandisc, streaming movies etc....

I have done the Ram test, run sfc /scannow about 4 times and it finds problems every time. I have tried many different options and searched the forums here for hours. I figured it was time to finally just post and ask for help as I am lost. Other then this issue the laptop is great and does what I ask.

Oh I have also done the hard drive check in BIOS etc.. I also tried putting it in the fridge when hot and booting over and over again to see if chilling it would make it boot.

Sorry for rambling. I am totally lost right now.
