desktop icon right click disaster.
the desktop icon (c:\users\userMe\Desktop) has a right click option to 'Move this folder'. i accidentally moved it to c:\, it should have been c:\newfolder\.
the c drive root folder now shows on the desktop with a few of those desktop supposed to be there icons, computer, network, recycle bin..
i havent browsed, or shut off my system, where is my original desktop icon, i could set that path back to what it should be?
a warning dialog with 'move files..., and, this can prevent having 2 desktop folders in the xxxxx folder' I went for 'no' i'm glad i didnt move the files themselves to i guess c:.
under system restore my c: drive is named '(dsktp-icon) Desktop (System)'. i dont know if system restore will fail. (desktop icon, its like dang)
i looked at the desktop icon in 'quick launch',
Target type: Show desktop
Target location: Desktop
Target: (ghosted)Show desktop
am i turning it into rocket science, or do i actually need a scientist.
