Diagnostic Service Host service hung on starting
I am getting an error message saying “The Diagnostic Service Host service hung on starting.” There appears to be no dependencies for this service. I cannot manually start it and the system denies access to modify its restart properties. As administrator, I cannot edit any of the options for this service even though I can edit several of the other related services. When I attempt to change the restart option, it gives the following error message:
"Error 5: Access is denied.
Windows was unable to open service WdiServiceHost for writing on Local Computer”
