Quark Xpress cannot see H drive
Hi - I am running Quark Passport 7 on a PC which was recently upgraded from XP to Vista. I work at a University so have to ask our IT dept to do everything for me and our firewalls etc are very restrictive. Becasue of this I asked our IT guy to make me a Power User so I could install new fonts etc which he did.
My problem now is that when I open Quark it prompts me to ask if I want to continue opening it, then when it opens I cannot access my H (home) drive to import pictures etc. It can see all the other drives, but frustratingly not the one I need!
I am no expert by any means but have tried to change the access permissions on the H drive but still get nowhere. I can of course ask IT but they are not very clued up on Quark and will prpbably take forever to come to see me so would be extremely grateful for any hints or tips!
