endless loop: File download-Security warning

I am getting an endless loop of File down load-security warning with multiple applications. When I select "RUN", it briefly opens a window and then takes me right back to the "File down load - Security warning" message


I can't use system restore, launch explorer through my taskbar, and many other programs. Also, when I shutdown and restart, 25 copies of IE try to launch automatically. HELP!!!!!!! Please?!

It seems that you have a virus. Scan your computer with a reliable and up-to-date antivirus, and if nothing changed log in "safe mode" then restore back you system.

I ran the mcaffee online virus scan, no virus found. I have the same issue when I try to run my internal Mcaffee, the file download -security warning loop.

I tried safe mode, I still couldn't access Backup and restore Center in Vista.
