MCI driver

Trying to run Talk Now from Eurotalk which runs fine on xp but after loading on my Vista premium laptop, the program starts ok but when sound should start I get the error message "System error, MCI error, there is no driver installed on your system" I tried running in xp compatability mode - no success. I tried loading a vista fix from Eurotalk - no success. Can anyone help?
