Cannot open channels in TVU player on Vista

Hi, I have been having difficulties to watch channels in TVU player on my new laptop. The configuration for my laptop (Sony Vaio C36GJ) is as follow.

- Processor 2.53GHz
- 4 GB memory
- Window Vista Home Premium (64-bit)
- McAfee 2009
- Windows Media Player 11

I have confirmed that it is not a firewall issue because it still does not work after i disable the anti-virus software. It seems to be a Vista security issue because i can watch channels on another laptop using XP. Would appreciate if you can provide some suggestions on the possible solutions to overcome this.
