Windows failed to start loop error.
Hey guys!
I got a hard candy over here.
My windows has a tendency to freeze when it goes to sleep mode. Usualy the solution was to simply reboot it and that was it.
Recently it froze during sleep mode yet again, and after reboot the "windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause" window popped up.
As usual I get two options in here:
1) Launch Startup Repair (recommended)
2) Start Windows Normally
Well the problem is that no matter which one I choose it comes back to the same window. And on top of all that it even wont load a Vista Installation CD.
And yes I did put my CDROM as primary booting device. It detects a CD, and after I choose to boot from it I get the same "Windows failed to start" error.
I gotta rescue the files on it. Cant afford to lose em.
