BSOD on Print
 

Hello,
I'm having a rather bizarre issue and an incredibly difficult time getting support from the PC manufacturer. About a month ago we purchased a new computer to push our whole office towards Vista.

I originally had setup the computer to print to a wireless print server however every time I tried to print to it I had a resulting BSOD. Due to time constraints we simply ditched the print server and began to use a USB repeater to reach the plotter's new location.

On Friday when someone attempted to print a local job to the plotter (HP DesignJet 500 series) from the computer the BSODs returned. The resulting error is a System_Service_Exception with a stop code of 0x0000003B. The application that the screen blames is win32k.sys. This error happens every time you try to send a job to the plotter however sending a job to another printer (HP Photosmart C6180) there is no resulting BSOD.

I've tried searching and the best that I could get was from this forum I have not tried running all the troubleshooting steps however I have tried to update and change the printer drivers for the plotter as well as update the video driver to the latest from NVidia. I was hoping to maybe find someone out there who has had a similar issue or a suggested fix before I go tearing through the system with Startup Repair since having this PC up is a priority.

Note: The PC works perfectly fine as long as you don't try to print to the plotter. However using a networked PC to print to the plotter works perfectly fine.
