Adobe Acrobat repeatedly requires Activation

I am running MS Vista. I have Adobe Acrobat 7.0. It has been continually asking me to reactivate (i get about a 1 minute to view a document before it asks me to activate again. The message says i need to activate because my computer's configuration appears to have changed. I went and downloaded the upgrades and installed them sequentially, hoping that would solve the problem. It did not. i am currently running Adobe Acrobat 7.1.3. I utilize paradox to obtain the activation number. i have installed service pak II for vista as well. does anyone have any suggestions?
