False Internet Explorer Script Error
Recently upon bootup a dialog appeared on my desktop that says Internet Explorer Script Error ! an error has occurred in the script on this page.
Line: 1
Char: 1
Error: Syntax error
Code: 0
URL: http://countzcominc.com/link/countphp?it=94&out=1
Do You want to continue running scripts on this page? Yes No
Simultaneously on Amazon.com when I tried to enter my username and password the screen would switch with the message "Internet Explorer has modified this page to help prevent cross-site scripting..." I looked at the task manager and found wzqkpick.exe running. When I eliminated it from the toolbar this problem stopped and I can now enter my password. However, on bootup the script error message still appears, and it affects my Dell printer by printing a first page of garbage before the actual information. When I actually go to the URL listed a Chinese website comes up with which I can do nothing. First, since on bootup I am NOT running Internet Explorer, why should that error message appear. Sounds like a virus to me. How can I find and eliminate it. It tried McAffee and Webroot and neither could find it. Further when I try to run any registry cleaner it says not for Windows Vista 64bit. Any suggestions?
