IE history files stopped updating
I am running Vista Home Premium/SP1 with all current updates. As of this morning, my history files stopped updating. I had all the history for the prior seven days, but the folder for today was empty. There should have been hundreds of entries based on today's usage. Late this evening, I went to MS to check if there were any updates for IE7 and it loaded IE8 instead. It is still not updating the history file, but even worse, it cleared the entire week's history that was still there today, and populated the folders with lists of all the pictures, mp3's, pdf's, and documents I've updated for the last week. Other than the MS updates, no changes were made to the system.
Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
