MIDI to WAV converter won't work

I have a Midi Converter Studio that refuses to work in the rendering mode.
The converter works in the sound recording mode using the sound card but this is very time consuming compared to the rendering mode which uses sound fonts available on the internet.The software supplier insists that the program works on Vista but my experience proves otherwise. After numerous fixes suggested by the supplier such as updating drivers, removing other media programs, reinstalling the program,cleaning the registry, etc. it still won't work.They say that there may be another program in the background interfering with the conversion. Actually, the program converts the Mid file to Wav but when played back there is no sound even though the speakers work in any other program! Has anyone else encountered this problem? Would appreciate any help.

Hm...recently I bought a new version of MIDI Converter Studio, set up it on my Vista. And it works great. Maybe you should ask software supplier?
