problem with Adobe Reader Update in Vista
I have a Dell Inspiron 531 with Home Basic,it has Adobe Reader 8 that was factory installed. I would like for someone if they will to please tell me how to uninstall this in order to reinstall this update to Adobe Reader 8.1. I'm not sure I can even explain it correctly,my problem with this thing!! I have Adobe 8,installed from Dell and I recieved an update that said it was an update to Adobe Reader 8.1! Well,at the time I was doing something else and failed to read it all, very clearly. Then I started to have problems with the mouse pointer disappearing and the computer unable to download files without freezing up! Could someone resque me and help me with some advice as I'm a novice still and am unsure how to accomplish this task.Do I have to uninstall the Reader 8 and (as I have SP1 with Vista) install this update from the Adobe website? I'm very confused now,I kinda know what to do maybe, but unsure if I can pull this offf without tearing something up! How would you uninstall something that was put on in the factory?
