Explorer doesn't start
When I boot up I do not get a desktop. Everything loads until I come to a blank screen with just a curser. I can CTRL+ALT+DEL and go to task mngr and start "explorer" then the desktop and taskbar appear and everything seems normal.
I looked in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon and the "shell" string is explorer. I seen many people that had the wrong value there and changing the path to "explorer.exe" fixed their trouble, but mine is right to begin with.
I'm lost on this one. Anyone have any idea why explorer isn't starting, or why I have no desktop if it's not the explorer?
