Vista Explorer: Explore option missing
I have Windows Vista Home Basic. In the Windows Explorer, I have lost the "Explore" option when I right-click a folder in the file view area. All I see is Open in bold, followed by other options, starting with "Find using QuickFinder...", then several software options from software I have installed. Below that are Sent to..., Cut, Copy, ... Properties.
I have tried System Restore back to the very first one available (about 3 weeks ago), but the Explore option remains lost.
In the Tools > Folder Options > General tab, the Browse folders option is set to "Open each folder in the same window". However, double-clicking on a folder opens a NEW WINDOW. I Hate that!
I have searched for solutions, but have not found any description of my problem anywhere. I would sure appreciate some help.
