Vista Movie Maker and DVD video card issue

I am running VMware's Fusion 2.0.1 with video card sVGAII that supports DirectX 9.0c Shader model 2 3D. I have an Intel Mac with Vista Home Premium running as a virtual machine.

I want to use Windows Movie Maker and DVD Maker that came in Vista, but keep getting error message that my video card isn't compatible. When I looked at "more details" it stated that my video card needed to support DirectX 9.0c. Mine does, hence the confusion.

I do have the 3D enabled in Fusion and all drivers are current.

Any ideas?? Thanks.
